This mornings school run I kept my 12 week old in vest & sleepsuit as I know it can still be a bit chilly in the shade but obviously this afternoon its a lot hotter I'm not going to be out for long (don't drive so don't want to keep DS in the heat too long)

But is just a short sleeve short legged romper without vest or socks ok? I worry about his feet getting cold is that silly in this weather?! Lol

My lo has been out in a short legged romper and no socks today and he is fine! Xx

Yep that sounds perfect! I'd put a baby in a t-shirt and nappy, with shorts or bloomers if you don't like just the nappy on show, or a plain short leg and sleeve cotton romper or bodysuit in this heat. Don't need socks but keep a pair in a bag with a light blanket or cardigan just incase.

My little boys always in just a romper or a loose vest in this heat. No socks on. Better a tiny bit too cold than too hot I say.

I've got my 4 week old in short legged/sleeved romper with no vest. It's 28c here and she was hot this morning in a vest and sleep suit.

My DD was in a short sleeve romper this morning until she had a nappy leak all over it when we were out and I only had cold weather spare clothes in her bag so then she ended up in just a vest, poor girl!

I had to take baby grow off mine this afternoon while out, just kept him in a vest , its sooo hot x

What are yous all putting them in to sleep in? It's suppose to still be super hot tonight. I'm thinking a onesie without a vest and just a thin blanket.

Sorry to hijack OP

Romper or vest. No socks. muslins can be handy for a very light layer.

Tonight I would have just done nappy and vest with a muslin.

My dd has been wearing a light romper or dress during the day. At night she's in just a nappy and vest with a muslin to cover her.

My baby is wearing a vest and a short sleeved and legged rompersuit. It has Batman on it. That's an important detail! :haha:
When we went out I draped a muslin over her legs to shield her from the sun a bit.
