I am currently floored by constant heavy AFs which seem to be getting worse each month, last months cycle last 23 days, started Norethisterone on day 18, think it help stop the bleed after taking it for 5 days... had a 3 day gap before starting a new cycle, bleeding was full on, went to the doctors, now on Mefenamic acid and Tranexamic to help stop the bleed, will start Norethiserone on day 5, don't want a repeat... next cycle.

Has anyone had similar experiences??

Has anyone's bleeding got worse after failed IVF cycles? I have had 2 failed cycles last year.

What is you experiences with these meds?

What is the impact on IVF taking these meds? Not sure if I have the energy to go through another cycle of IVF... :nope: contemplating the coil, want the heavy bleeding to end. :growlmad:

I wish I had some input- sorry hun. I know our bodies can do some messed up stuff at times... :hugs:

Maybe post in the TTC section for better input? It was really helpful when I was on Clomid and doing IUI's... I know it's not the same. Maybe someone there has some sound advise. Best of luck hun!!! Hugs.

Thanks for replying. Now on day 34 and still bleeding. Or day 13 of a new cycle so confused.

I thought this section would have been useful.

I am involved in other threads where I have been winging about this.

Will wait until next week if I am still bleeding I will head back to docs.

Oh man- no fun! Sorry hun. Hope it's all sorted sooner than later! :hugs:

Just a wee update/moan.

Now on day 42 of bleeding in total.

Think I have confused docs now taking all 3 meds each day to help it stop. Hoping something works.

Meet up with a friend last night. She had a massive fibroid. My is only small. She has noted they are known to cause a great deal of pain andbbleeding as well.

Thanks for taking the time to read my moans...

Sorry hun... truly hope it's sorted sooner than later!!! No fun. I have friends who've been through similar (not due to fibrods) but weeks or months of bleeding and horrid periods... they all needed different help. It just took time to find the right solution. Wish there was a magic wand!!!! Hugs
