Im about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant, about 3 days ago i started bleeding heavily and had quite bad cramps. I went to the docs and he said at this point it was just a threatened miscarriage but the bleeding got worse so went to the walk in centre, again they said to just wait. The bleeding is easing off but wouldnt say its light. Have a hospital appointment on mon but did a pregnancy test which was negative this morning. Does this mean ive lost the baby? So upset even though i was only very early on in pregnancy. Heard stories of peoples hgc levels going down but then going up again do you think this is what is happening? the bleeding is lighter and cramps have now stopped, thanks hannah

I dont want to get your hopes up and say everything is ok because i dont know.

But given what you have wrote it sounds like your babe may have possibly grown wings.

Ask for a scan or bloods.

I agree with v2007 - without bloods ( taken over 48 hours if HCG is found in the 1st one ) then it is only guess work.

So sorry you are going through this :hugs:

Thanks for your advice, Have an appointment for a scan and hopefully blood tests tmro morning but have been waiting since fri so feels like a lifetime away! Am expecting the worst but fingers crossed. xx

So sorry hon it does sound like a mc, just wanted to be honest with you :hugs:. I hope I'm wrong and bean is holding on but the first thing the doctor asked me when I bleed was if I still had a positive pregnancy test. I had a missed mc so it was but he said it was a reliable indication. :hugs:

i know i think it will be a miracle if it isnt a miscarriage :( x

So sorry hon I know how you are feeling :hugs:

I'm sorry this has happened to you. If all honestly it does sound as if you have lost your little one. I didn;t have heavy bleeding with my 5 week loss and pregnancy tests went back to being bfn :(

Hugs to you x

Thanks guys but unfortunatly i lost my baby, found out that i was actually 7 weeks and 5 days pregnant :( i hope it doesnt happen again as ive heard or reacurring miscarriages so fingers crossed, thanks for all your support

So sorry hon. It's quite rare to have lots of recurring mc so try to keep positive like you sound you are. Hope we see you back again soon. :hugs:
