We have decided to swap from Aptimil as it was giving Phoebe terrible trapped wind problems and she will only poo every 3-4 days and spends most of the time straining. When she does go she explodes everywhere and then the whole straing process starts again.

Has anyone used Heinz Nurture and have you had any problems with it? We have gone for this and I hope its going to be ok for her.

I normally use Hipp organic but if I need a carton in an emergency then I will use a Nurture one - never had any problems with it - we had massive problems with Aptimel too. To be honest the Nurture ones are better value as you get more in a carton than the aptimal ones. Hope that helps!

i use it! we've never had any probs (only been on formula like a month tho!)

the one prob we've come across tho is it can be pretty hard to track down! i've recently discovered tho, its the only one lidl do if you're near a lidl!!

We changed Daisy onto this last Tuesday after numerous wind / sick / straining issues with Aptimel and the results have so far been fab. Everything is more 'fluid', she now brings wind up really easily and hasn't been sick once.

Guess it's different for every baby but I'd recommend it.

Thanks for the replies, we couldn't get the nurture in the end and we need milk as a matter of emergency so we decided to go for hipp organic. Phoebe had her first bottle this evening and pulled a face at first but took 5oz and went straight to sleep. Its so annoying they dont do cartons though.

If you do want to go for the nuture one, i think Sainsburys have it on offer atm!!

ooo holly i didnt think they could put formula on offer?? off to investigate!!

i just bought some, its only the follow on thats on offer xx

I thought it was the blue, green and orange cartons on offer in my sainsburys?

in mine it was only the orange! it was only the orange online too

Ive just switched Leo over to this so I will let you know how it goes for him x

I swapped from aptamil stage 2 to heinz (previously farleys) nurture stage 2, our tesco's does it along with most places locally. No probs as yet we're just finishng the first carton.

Thanks everyone. We had a disaster today with the hipp organic we started it last night and it seemed to go ok but she didn't finish her bottle - i just assumed she had, had enough. Since being on it today she has had 2 oz from each bottle and then puked up most of it, she keeps spitting the teat out as though she doesn't like the taste of it. She was getting so mad because she was hugary but just wouldn't take it. I was so worried she hadn't had enough food I switched back to aptimil tonight before bed and she polished off 7oz!!

My Oh has come home with a tin of nurture do you think it is ok to try this tomorrow or should we just stick to apitmil now as she had a bottle of it tonight. I'm a bit worried about chopping and changing the milks.

I just finished getting rid of both a big can of powder, and a case of concentrate.... Mind you, I'm across the pond.

Does Heinz have any sample offers in the UK like they do in Canada? Because I got both the case of concentrate as well as the powder for free for signing up to the Heinz baby club!
