Hello ladies,
i have been lurking for a bit and decided to introduce myself before I invade the threads
My name is Catalina, I used to work on a cruise ship as a croupier... life on the ships is pretty much how people think it is, lots of work hours but lots of partying too. I met FOB one night at the crew bar and even when I feel a bit ashamed I have to admit we quickly started "dating" I got pregnant instantly and sadly had a miscarriage in January, then started birth control but did not use an extra method the first month so I got pregnant again! I was terrified of having another mc so I decided to fly home, where I've been since.
The day I disembarked I was 6 weeks pregnant and since I was at the airport for so many hours I connected to facebook. Well I had two messages from two different ladies: one asking if I had a relationship with FOB, when I said yes she told me they were together day and night for 2 weeks in january (while I was at the hospital) she was a spa employee on the ship, she said she was sorry about it all and that she hated him. the other lady was pretty mean, she asked about us and I told her we had a relationship and I was pregnant, well she said she was pregnant too and they were getting married and a bunch of things ( this one I thought they were friends, she was a passenger in one of our december cruises but living in Miami so apparently they were meeting every week, she was not pregnant).
I confronted him of course about all of this and he just said they were all lies. I arrived home and my curiosity made it very easy to find more stuff on facebook... he had told me about his daughter but I never knew he also had a little boy with his WIFE!! (of course I had no idea he was married) I was devastated of course but I was terrified of having another miscarriage so I basically tried not to cry much and be brave, spent many hours searching for funny videos on youtube
I sent him a message saying I knew about the wife and his son and to please don't even try to deny it, I told him how grateful I was for being pregnant and how I didn't hate him but to please understand that it was completely over between us. I gave him also the option to be a part of our baby's life if he was going to be a responsible dad or to just step aside and forget about his baby. He said he wanted to be a part of baby's life.
Well he wasn't a big help at all, this is a guy that made $1800 a month and sent $700 total for my whole pregnancy, oh! and he sent $150 when baby was born then emailed saying he lost his job
Thankfully I live at my dad's house so i have food and a roof over our heads and soon I will be able to work again, this time of course here in my country.
It has been hard not having his dad here, sometimes when I see him sleep I cry thinking how unfair it is for him not to have a dad, but on the other hand it has been such a rewarding experience, he's all mine and being a mom is so amazing!

sorry your fob is a liar and a cheat too , it's amazing how many there're out there ! You sound like your doing fine without him and you sound like a great mom too x
I do my best to be the best mom I can, I learned from the best, my own mommy, she passed but I still remember her methods 
it is their loss tho.
