Hello from a newbie

Hi all, I'm 38 yrs old and have been ttc for a year now and feel its time to open up about it - just can't keep it to myself anymore ... haven't told anyone we're ttc and even though OH is great he just doesn't get it sometimes! Looking forward to chatting to you all.

Yep, FutureMommie I've had some tests - blood tests came back normal and OH is normal so we're now headed, or rather I am, off for a HSG on Tuesday. If its clear then we're 'unexplained infertility' and if I'm blocked then I assume they'll get a plumber in to sort my tubes out!!!!!! Not sure which result is pref? To be unexplained is frustrating but to have a prob that could be fixed ....? OH keeps telling me to stop trying to predict everything but I see if as trying to prepare myself for whatever eventuality. Have heard that after a HSG many ladies have fallen pregnant - fingers crossed that Oct is my month! x

Sbee- I wish u the best!!! I have a friend who did the HSG and after got her BFP!!! So I hope that's ur case!!! If you don't have to go through havin your tubes unblocked better!!! It's surgery and even though not unbareable still not fun but either way their are solutions & that's the best part!!!

Fingers crossed for our BFP soon!!!!!
