Hey ladies,

Ive finally accepted the fact that its not going to happen quickly for us.

I have pcos and came off the bcp in july 08. Cycles seemed normal but were getting longer and longer. Then got pg in jan out of the blue. Ended in mc in March. Had erpc in may as placenta hadnt come away. Since then Ive had 2 cycles, both around 60 days and dont think im ovulating. Doc has arranged for my 21 day blood tests to happen and then he said we'll look at our options. Thing is, he wont do anything til ive lost weight. Im 16st  but have lost half a st in the last month so im really trying but it seems to have stopped coming off. Damn PCOS!!!

So im feeling a bit crappy right now cos i miss my bean and we are desperate for a family. Im 27 and can hear the evil clock ticking.

Just thought id introduce myself over here. Anyone with a similar story? Id love to hear from others going through the same thing. I feel so alone, my 2 sisters have 6 kids between them and not even a whiff of a mc or polycystic ovary between them :(

Thanks for listening xxx

Sorry to hear about your loss:sad1:

We've been TTC for 1 1/2yrs now and still no baby. Just started Clomid and am praying I won't have to do this month after month.

I hope you have your BFP soon:bfp:

Welcome BabyBubbles,

I have PCOS aswell and have been ttc since Aug 07. Not a whiff of a BFP ever!

At the minute, I'm also trying to loose weight as my consultant won't give us any more treatment til I do. I never considered myself overweight, but I do now thanks to him!

Best wishes x

:hi: And Welcome to the mad house :friends:

Hopefully you're stay here will be short as things seem to happen to folks who hang around here too long :tease: :fool:

Sorry to hear of your MC. I too am a blasted PCOS'er....We're about to start IVF.

My best advice is seek second and third opinions - if you're not happy with your first GP/Gyno. Always listen to your body

Lots of luck.
