After browsing on here for a few months now I have finally decided to say hello and let you know my story as briefly as I can. Came off BCP approx 3 years ago, been TTC for approx 2 yrs, been referred to FS, all preliminary tests came back fine i.e. bloods/ ultrasound/sperm. I am now waiting for an HSG, which they say is next option.

Personally I feel I have Short LP as have intermittent bleeding after Ov and LP is rarely more than 9 days. FS pretty much dismissed this and wasn't interested in my temps/ charts etc. which clearly show this.Her words were 'people can get too obsessed with those things!' After keeping meticulous charts for over a year I was a bit peeved with this to be honest and now can't see the point of charting if FS isn't interested in them and I know when I am OVing.

Anyway just wanted to say hello and thank you for all the info and advice I have already taken from this site.

Sorry your FS didn't want to see your charts - but try to be assertive with them. I had to be, and eventually my FS consulted with other Dr.s in her practice and I'm on a new IVF protocol - that seems to be working.

They know their stuff - but YOU know your body.

Not sure if you've read it but there is a massive thread on bvits to lengthen LP.

I've been on b100 and had some success but there are quite a few girls who have had really good results with it.

I've never charted myself and was worried that my consultant would want all the info but like you was told they didn't - seems very conflicting info!!!
