After a chat with my mw today we've decided to go for a home birth!
I have never had one (very successful hospital birth last time) and I want it to go well

So inform me! Tell me what I need to prepare :) xxx

These are both great websites:

https://www.homebirth.org.uk/
https://homebirthersandhopefuls.com/

You should also look and see if there is a home birth group in your local area. Your midwife might know. I know I got a brochure about mine when I had my booking appointment. There's also a Home Birthers and Hopefuls Chat group on Facebook that's super helpful and full of lots of great ladies who have had or are planning home births.

I had my daughter at home almost a year ago (she was my first) and it was wonderful. The best decision I could have made for both of us.

I'd also really recommend looking into natal hypnotherapy. I found it helped me so much. As you've given birth before, you have a bit more of a sense of what to expect, but it's a great tool.

Perfect thank you so much!
I'm pretty confident I can do this and I managed to detach myself from pain in my daughters labour so I'll def look into natal hypnotherapy

Do you have a birth story anywhere I can read?xx

Hey we spoke in first tri, glad to see you in here. I've got a birth story of my nearly home birth, lol sept 11 I'm on my phone but can't link xx

Good luck! I **loved** my homebirth, best thing I ever did :D
