I just thought i'd itroduce myself over here.
Im a single mummy to alfie who is 3 months old tomorrow.
I was with his dad for only 3 months before i fell pregnant with Alfie but we decided to make it work and we moved in together. Everything was going well untill I got to about 20 weeks preggo and I missed my family. I moved back home but we carried on seeing each other. Then when I was 35 weeks preggo, he cheated on me.. at my grandads funeral.. with my brothers girlfriend!!
We didn't see each other after that, but we spoke on the phone about arrangements prior to little ones birth. The plan was, I didn't want him in the room whilst I gave birth but he could come in after. My mum text him when I was in established labour, and we didn't hear from him (bearing in mind I had rang him earlier that day to let him know my waters had broke and things were progresing quickly). I rang him as soon as Alfie was born and all I got was abuse down the phone because he slept through the text message???!!!
Anyway he saw him at the hospital the day he was born. Then he saw him twice more in his first week of being born. Then nothing...
I had to register Alfie, and I wanted him to have my surname!! I text him saying, 'getting Alfie registered on...., he is having my surname. if you want your name on his certificate come, if not then dont bother.'
He turnt up and I havent seen or heard from him since.
This was when Alfie was four weeks old!!!
