help and advice please

im confused, i had unprotected sex about 23rd of july and spotted a little about 9 days after [implantation bleed maybe?] and now my period is due i think as im having really bad cramps that i dont normally get and am only spotting not enough for a pad or anything, this is so unlike me as im normaly quite heavy. im 18 and dont think im too young and would never abort, i dont particularly want a baby as ive just applied to uni etc but i know its not the end of the world, id have the support from family [i think] and my boyfriend im just confused and want to know. did anyone else get this cramping? please help and advise... thankyou

Whens your period due sorry hun? You can test as early as 6 days before your period is due. And to be honest no 18 isnt too young. Im 18 also. I had a place in Uni for this september but you can defer your entry to next year (if you speak to the Uni itself and explain your situation). Just test as soon as you can. Best thing to do is test, and if it's negative, test again a few days later. If you're still getting a negative then I would go to the doctors to get checked out, especially as it's concerning you and causing you discomfort.

I agree with the ladies above, the only thing you can do right now is test!
As for Uni, if it turns out you are pregnant, and as you stated you wouldn't abort (must give praise for that lovely good decision!) you can, like Sophie said, enter next year instead! Alot of universities have creches and such nowadays, they're very accommodating to all! There's plenty of things that the government can help you with nowadays too.
Do you live at home? If so, you'll have family support like you said and hopefully a stable environment for the baby! Life doesn't end with a baby, it just begins

it was a false alarm my period came tonight and i was surprisingly upset in a wierd way i thought i wasnt ready and when i told my boyfriend he felt the same, who knows what will happen now we will probably wait till after uni and so on but i was so surprised at the way i felt when my period came. thanks for all the help will deffo come back on here when it does happen as your all really nice helpful people who do not judge which i love. thanks guys
