help..anyone been through the same thing?

Hi all...im about 6 weeks pregnant... and on thursday i went into hopsital with severe cramps (just like period ones but worse) and i started bleeding...as the hours passed the bleeding got heavier and darker, the hospital did blood tests and urine samples...on the saturday morning, i had a scan, they couldnt see anything, so they did and internal scan and they still couldnt see anything, they said this isnt anything to worry about it could just be that its still to early, or my baby may be growing in wrong place or at an angle etc...
when my doctor came to me she explained that all my blood tests and urine samples were still coming back a positive result that i am pregnant, she said there is about a 10% chance out of 100% that i have miscarried or are misscarrying.....
i have been back this morning for blood tests, i get the results tomorrow morning, this is toc heck my hormone levels, the nurse said if its gone up all is ok and baby is still there, if has dropped down then i have miscarried and if its still the same i need more tests for them to find out
i am still bleeding and have been since the thursday, i am very concerned ....and theres some kind of mucuos
anyone been through a similar thing??
this is my 1st pregnancy so i am worried

I went through it and he is two and a half now. A week later they found him on the scans.

Hya,

Unfortunately it's a waiting game, 6 weeks is often too early to see anything and even if you are sure of your dates you could be only 4 or 5 weeks. I have been through bleeding this early in pregnancy and in both my DS and this preg and come out the other side, it's not always the worst. I hope everything turns out ok and try your hardest not to worry xx n(p.s. mucus is normal in pregnancy it does all kind of strange things x)

thankyou for advice and support
had results back this morning and unfortunately i have miscarried
they said my hormone levels were at 400 and something and have now dropped drastically to 40 something

i was hoping for good outcome too, but hey everything happens for a reason,
we are both very distraught and upset, but the future can b bright
we are going to try again when the time is right untill then we are staying positive

Hi Hun,

So sorry to hear this I lost my first one and it's a very cruel thing to experience, but it is incredibly common (at least one in four) and there is brightness in the future.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this and hope that the coming days and weeks are as peacefull as can be x
