So this year, OH has put me solely in charge of present buying as im on maternity leave :)

His dad is planning to buy a campervan in January to go on short weekends away with OHs mum and the dog. I came up with the idea of making a 'camper hamper' (a hamper full of useful items for use in a campervan)

So far I have:

1) Book of dog friendly campsites
2) Membership voucher to the caravan and camping club

....and thats it! Are there any campers out there who can help me with ideas??? (Im more of a hotel girl myself, hehe!)

Budget is approx £50.

Thanks, Jen :) x

A whistling kettle to go on the hob?
Sleepingbag?
A flannel bag filled with minatures ready for a holiday/break?

Lol sorry not much use :(

Maybe some camper van related novelty gifts/things with camper van on them? Like keyrings or something?

EDIT: Like these;

https://www.play.com/Search.html?searchstring=camper&searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0

A foldable water bucket the bigger the better because it means less trips to the taps lol Like this : https://www.craigdonmountainsports.com/vango-expandable-water-carrier-12l
An electric hook up cable to connect the camper to mains electric https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10m-caravan-...5955?pt=UK_Cables_Hookups&hash=item230bc26a63
Folding chairs for outside the van
Wind breaks
Plastic plates,cutlery and cups so it wont brake while driving ect
A torch

if i think of anything else ill come back been 2years since i went camping lol

EDIT::

A steak and tie down cable for the dog so the dog can be outside without running a muck lol because even dog friendly places dont just want them running all around all the time

* Wind up torch and lantern.
* Waterproof ponchos, usually about 2.99 each or can sometimes get them in poundland.
* Foldupwashing up bowl (can get from Go Outdoors) depends if they have one inside the van or not obviously :)
* Hot Water Bottle each

What comes to mind for me with camping:

Bug Spray to keep the bugs off
Citronella candle to repel the bugs
Sun screen
Plasticware (plates/cups/utensils) / Picnic stuff? (ketchup/mustard/salt/pepper)
All the fixin's for S'mores?? (marshmallows, hershey bars, graham crackers)
Cards/Uno/Phase 10 -- camping type travel games
Flashlight
Sleeping bag
Cooler

Amazon have some books on cooking in campervans (recipes). Will try and look them up

EDIT: there's a selection here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_s...campervan+cookbook&sprefix=campervan+cookbook
