My LO has always had trouble with wind, even when breastfeeding in the first 2 weeks. She is so difficult to try and get any wind out of during feeding. It doesn't matter how long for or what way we wind her, most times we get zero wind from her. Its causing her to be really unsettled during sleep and regularly wakes up crying with tummy pain. She also sometimes only goes an hour between feeds as she so full of wind she doesn't feed properly.

We tried gripe water which made her worse.

We are currently using infacol which seems to help a little bit but hasn't made an obvious difference.

We are using Aptimil but tried Cow and Gate this weekend which made no difference so am a bit sceptical about trying any others.

We've got Tommee Tippee closer to nature bottles so tried Avent bottles which made no difference.

We've just today got Tommee Tippee anti colic bottles to try.

We took her to the doctors where we were told there's nothing they can do, infacol and things like that don't work, yes she is very gassy (helpful :/) and to try massaging her tummy.

Basically has anyone got any advice or suggestions because i would be really greatfull. I just don't know what to do.

Thanks in advance xx

Heya.

Have you tried Dentinox drops? Ive heard people say that they think they work better than infacol.
Also there is comfort milk, which is milk specially made to help with colic and/or constipation.

When your LO drinks, does she make a slurpy/clicky noise? Because my LO suffers with trapped wind and it's because she has a lip tie, she can't make a good seal with her mouth and takes in a LOT of air when feeding. She also dribbles milk a lot. So if your LO is noisy and messy when drinking you might want to check for a lip or tongue tie.

i haven't tried dentinox yet no. Once i've finished the infacol i'll try that.

she can be a bit messy and noisy but more like she's gulping and she faffs her head about x

have you considered switching to a 'comfort' milk. our little boy was on Aptimal but at 4 weeks we switched him to cow and gate comfort, this was after trying infacol, gripe water and colief. He is a different child now, so much more happier and less colicky.

I hated the tt anti colic, they made my baby gulp air and the milk would stream down his face, I switched him to Dr Browns and it is now 90% better.
All babies are different though, infacol seems to really us.
Have you tried cycling your lo's legs, tummy massage and the tiger in tree position for burping?
