I am dying to go to the gym. I hate asking FOB as he always makes out he has 'plans' and my mum doesnt stop running around so I have to wait  lol.

Do you get a lot of help?

I get a bit, but I wont ask FOB. It's just not worth the hassle. Sometimes my mum helps, but mostly, I'm on my own x

I would love to go to the gym, unfortuniatly I dont have anyone to watch LO while I do it, my mum will babysit at night once every few months if I pay her. So in answer to your question no I dont get help lol, couldnt even ask FOB as she doesnt know him so would freak out if I left her with him x

nope, i don't get any help from family, mainly because my mum and sis live about 2hours away. :dohh:

I do get a 3hour break monday and wednesday when gem goes off to nursery or the childminder. but i spend most of that time job hunting.

xx

I know it's not the same thing as I am yet to have my beautiful baby but have you considered buying something for the home? Just for now? There are small cross trainers or bikes which can fit in relatively small spaces and you could pull it out when you watch the TV or something, two birds with one stone. Plus you could keep an eye on them if they're in the same room.
Probably a naive idea but thought I'd try :)

OMG I have to have 2 of everything in this house, there is no space for me let alone gym equiptment :haha: plus I have a contract with the gym.

I am lucky I have my sister, SIL, mum and dad plus I do have FOB's family but I just dont want to ask...
Maybe I should just bite the bullet and ask...

We agreed he wouldnt have them overnight if he day off is a Thursday because he does football Wednesday nights, he sent me through all his days and out of 6 3 of them are Thursdays, thats never ever happened before :dohh: think he is trying to pull my leg :haha: so I might say ok well you can come and look after them one evening so I can go gym.... See if that works :haha:

Some gyms have creches, the one near me does, has your's not got one? A mate of mine found a posh gym/ leisure place once in London that had a baby gym too, yeah get them on the treadmill too!!LOL

Nope it's just me and my girls.

Its a bloody struggle but praying it gets easier when they get older!

Help goes in spurts. When my mother decided that I needed to start looking for a new husband and get the boys a father she was great for babysitting. Now that I have a boyfriend she doesn't want to (which is fine - we've started to include the kids a bit). I've also been lacking on my study time. Apparently asking her to babysit so that I can pass this stupid exam that will create an infinitely better life for us (her included) is taking advantage of her. My brother babysat Tommy one day so my mom could meet me at the doctor's with Danny. I about keeled over from the shock. He doesn't do kids.
