well, I will start from the start and tell you what has gone on over the last six weeks...

10/12/08... found out I was pregnant and about 5-6weeks.
12/12/08... started bleeding heavy and getting cramps in my right side.
15/12/08....went for a scan and was told that I had a complete miscarriage1discharged from early pregnancy unit.
30/12/08..... still bleeding heavy and feeling cramps still in right side.
8/1/09.... seen gp gave me some antibiotics for infection and tablets for heavy bleeding and was told the bleeding was down to the infection.
23/1/09..still bleeding, seen gp again and had a faint pregnancy test?, and was told to go to A&E, had internal and was told that there was something still in there which was causing the bleeding.
29/1/09..went for scan and told there was a sac there with some fluid and was told 3 things, I could be pregnant again?,could be a eptopic or left over from the miscarriage that I was still bleeding.
The midwife done pregnancy test, and got a faint positve and was told to go for a blood test and I had the results back the same afternoon and the levels was 3, so not pregnant and yet again dischrged from early pregnancy unit with no follow up appiontment?????

I'm still bleeding and left with this sac and back to thinking what to do next, after 6 weeks after my m/c and something left up there which is causing the bleeding should I need a D&C????, or shall just wait for somthing more terrible to happen... I'm so upset and I just want things sorted...
I feel like I have been pushed around and told different things....

please girls I need some advice....

Laura xxxxxxx:cry::cry::cry:

OMG hun, so sorry you are going through this.

Why the hell did they discharge you if they see a sac? That's absolutely shocking. I would go to my doctors tomorrow and demand something is done about this.

So sorry to hear about your loss.

Hi there
I think the same. Get down there and demand something is done. Surely you need ERPC (D&C) or something. Or are they saying that if you leave it and as you are bleeding anyway that you will pass it?
For your own sanity I think you must go back and get a resolution that you are happy with.
Sorry for your loss.

Thanks girls, I thought is was not right, I think that the doctor is under the thought that the sac will come out itself, but after six weeks after m/c, i'm need help to get it out?.
I'm going to take your advice and see my GP tomorrow and ask why I have been left.
thanks again Laura xx

OH MY GOD, they discharged you even after all that. I thought if the body doesnt clar itself then they usually help with medical management.

Most places are usually really bad with follow up appointments. With my four mc's i was never offered a follow up appoinment.

I would go back to the doctor and express your concern.

 to you.

Wow... I am so sorry you had to go through this... my heart breaks for you :(

I would make sure you see your GP tomorrow and find out what is going on. I have no idea why they would release you when there is confirmation of something still being in there! That makes me so mad!

Good luck hun... and again... sorry :(

Take all the info you got here and go get some better answers and responses from your doctor, or gyn. Good luck and i'm sorry for all the madness.

Oh Laura I'm so sorry for you to have to go thru all this. As if m/c wasn't upsetting enough!

I hope you get some answers at the drs - I think sometimes you have to be pushy as m/c is so common to drs and specialists that some of them seem to forget how traumatic it all is for the patient. Customer service and bedside manner seems a little bit lacking in our over-stretched NHS!

Good luck honey xxx
