Hi, my names Chelsea, and I'm new to this site. Ive been so stressed out and was hoping that baby someone could help! I took a HPT 10/26/2012, and it was positive. I made an appointment with my OB, and went in that next Thursday. When I went to my appointment, they did tw o different ultrasounds and said that they couldn't see anything. I had blood work done that day, and they called me back into the office that very next morning. My HCG level was 15,000, but I was told that I'm only between 3-7 weeks, but took a HPT at the first of October and it was negative. They told me that it was most likely that I was having a miscarriage, or could be a molar pregnancy. They also said that it could be twins, but we would have to wait to see. I had not had any signs or symptoms of a molar pregnancy, nor miscarriage. They scheduled me for more bloodwork that Saturday, and wanted me to come back in Monday. Friday night I started having cramps, and decided it was best for me to go to the ER...They checked my HCG level, and also did two ultrasounds, which were just like the first, they could not see anything. My levels came back and they were 12,000... They told me that it was not a viable pregnancy, and I needed to make an appointment with me OB for a D&C. I felt like all hope was lost, I just couldnt see why my HCG would drop if something wasnt wrong...I went back to my OB on Monday, Nov. 5th, and they rechecked my HCG, I got the results from that today and my HCG level has went UP to 18,000?! I'm so confused, and upset. I just want to know if everythings going to be okay, that it may just be too early to see anything, or if it just wasn't meant to be this time
... I go back for another ultrasound tomorrow, but I'm just so nervous and scared that I can't do anything but cry.. If ANYONE has anything similar, or the same thing happened PLEASE let me know..
I will update tomorrow after my doctors appointment, also.
Thank you,
Chelsea
