No bother , I think when it comes to babies its trail and error !! Throw out the rule books and do what works for you :)

As for toddlers.. I'm finding THAT'S a whole new experience !!!!!
 
Glad you had a better night! Was in your shoes this time last year and used to dread bedtime as that's when my sons reflux was worst. A v-pillow was a lifesaver for us. I put a fitted sheet over it tightly so there were no gaps for him to squeeze in to and he slept much better. He was swaddled when he was really little but as he got bigger he slept inot a sleeping bag and surroundEd by the pillow. think the security really helped settle him. Hope you can find a Sutton to help you both x
