I'm seriously useless when it comes to picking outfits these days. I'm much larger tan I've ever been and not really used to my body so don't know how to flatter it. I'm size 14 and ave an hour glass figure.

Can anyone recommend me a dress. I'm 21 so want to dress my age also xx

For hourglass usually something that's shaped to show a little cleavage and is kind of fitted under the bust and then floaty/loose over your hips look lovely. Peplums are always good too especially if your hips and tummy are the parts you don't like too much.

The only things I'd probably stay away from are bodycons :) - The only shape they flatter are sticks :haha: x

I am also a 14 at the moment and trying to learn how to dress for my current body shape. I have found that maxi dresses are the most flattering - I am tall, and have some cleavage thanks to breast feeding. Maxi dresses seem to hide my wide hips, big bottom, and fat thighs and place the focus on the upper body, which is where I have lost the most weight. If you are going to a party/club maybe you could find a sexy dipped hem one (shorter at the front, long at the back)?

I hope you find a dress that makes you feel amazing x

Thanks. That's what I've been looking at, BUT I hate my arms so not sure if I can brave wearing one :( xx

That's not a million miles from what I got... Unfortunately my arms will be out but at least my shoulder bit will be covered

What's the occasion? I actually think bodycons can look amazing on ladies with curves.
And hourglass is definitely the best shape to dress :)
If you don't like your arms, how about a skater style dress? they're really in at the moment and suit most body shapes

Something this sort of shape could be really flattering. x

I'm in love with this dress at the minute, saw it when i was out shopping today but can't afford it :(

I'm a size 12 and would totally wear it even if i was a size bigger

in the shop, they had it teamed up with this jacket and it looked fab:

and i'd wear it with some cute little shoe-boots x
