Help! period late for 11 days, 2 negative HPTs =(

Hi

I have a 33 days cycle.. last period was on 26 Oct. Today is the 11th day (Cycle day 45). Took 2nd HPT this morning.. got negative result.

Recently, I have
- some twitching/pulling at lower abdomen
- some cramps at lower abdomen as though period is coming
- feeling tired

Very lost..
If I am pregnant, why does the tests show negative thought its 11 days late..
If I am not preg, period is not here?

Have anyone encountered something similar?
Any advice please? Thank you! =)

I'm in the same boat :/ I'm going to the doctor today. I've heard ovarian cysts can cause delayed period and preggo symptoms. I hope that's not what it is and we both get bfp!

I will likely test again this sat.. if still negative without period, will consider going to doctor. TTC-ing for the 8th month.. having phobia of seeing negative test results again. =(

happyclara I would take another test in a couple of days, but like others have said it is not really normal to go so long without a period. I know I have been told hormones and stress play a factor especially if you were stressed around the time of your ovulation. It could have caused ovulation to be late or there could be something hormonal going on. It would be better to get a blood test and see if there is something going on.......

happyclara, do you know if you ovulated this cycle? Chart or OPKs? Sometimes women can just not ovulate for no apparent reason and then they don't get a period until after they ovulate next month. Super frustrating but definitely something to talk to your doc about. At the very least, he might be able to prescribe some Provera so you can just put it behind you and look forward to another month!

I am not sure when I ovulated or if I ovulated. I only keep track of my period days.. previously, the longest cycle that I had was 40 days.. today is my CD 46.

I'm in similar boat, cd44 for me, took hpt last night and negative, last month af came on cd40. I only track period days too... I'm going to test again tomorrow. I have a busy week with work but if no af by weekend I'll make a dr apt. Hope that helps..

CD43 now. Went to doctors yesterday and urine test was negative. Waiting on blood test results. She did a physical check for cysts since I had a concern that that might be what was causing the delay and the symptoms. She said everything felt normal. Idk what's going on now but I don't have much faith that the blood test will be positive so I'm waiting for AF to get her act together

Blood test was negative too. Well I guess now I can have a drink when my husband and I go out for our anniversary Thursday

My AF came yesterday.. never so late... disappointed..

Thanks you too! I'm probably out this month too with the negative blood test. I'm beginning to think I ovulated late. Like really late around CD37. I guess it would sorta makes sense I had a lot of spotting the first few weeks this cycle. Maybe it just took a while to get things rolling
