help please :( AF or something else...

Hi everyone

I am just so confused, as my periods are irregular and I have been spotting for the past three days...it is mostly darkish red/brown. It it always there whenever I wipe and I had more spotting today than yesterday. I feel blah and have cramping...not as bad as AF cramps...no sore boobs/nipples like normal when AF comes. My last cycle was 46 days long, and if this is a light period, then it would make this cycle around...27/28 CDs.

I just took a cheapie test and it was negative...

but if it was implantation bleeding you only produce the PH hormones after it happen.

Avistar, if it's any help, I went through the same feelings this past sat/sun. I had AF type cramping, I could have SWORN I was out for this month, I felt like AF was on i'ts way. Then it stopped. See how long yours goes on for. It's not AF until it flows remember! Hang in there, I know it gets hard sometimes, I feel your frustration and pain sweetie, we all do in TTC!!

Jeez Avistar, I just looked at your ticker, you're 10dpo!! Classic implantation time. Exact same dpo that I was this past weekend! Hang in there girl, this could be it!! I'm on the final couple of days til testing too...

It could be implantation or it could be some spotting before your period. Good luck I really hope it's implantation bleeding

I posted to you somewhere else on this I am sure. I looked it up in my book of wonder on ttc etc., and found that a mid cycle bleed (of sorts) can be a sign of pregnancy. It is commonly red/pink/brownish, but never bright bright red like a period. It lasts for different lengths of time with different women ... but can be a sign of pregnancy. It is usual in long cycles, which is classically what you have.

So, don't give up hope yet. Just go with the flow (pardon the pun) and see what happens.

Thank you all so much! I don't normally spot before AF. I am going to get another ticker to start a new cycle if this bleeding is a new one. I Had more spotting today...more than yesterday but it is still light and dark/red. This morning it was very brown. I will test again just to be sure in a few days (I was planning on testing this weekend anyway).

Did you have any clot type things? If not it definately doesn't sound like AF to me!

I have had really tiny pieces of tissue...that have always been darker brown in color. I still don't have AF symptoms like usual either...
