Help please! I'm rubbish at this!

Well after much thought and whatnot, I've decided to get my OH a present for when I've given birth that I can give him (will be packed in hospital bag so nothing too big).

At first I wasn't going to, but mostly he's been amazing lately and I feel lucky and plus I know he's bought me something (I know what it is too )
but I have no clue what to get him, I want it to be special but most of the new daddy things wouldn't suit him if you get me? Like the mugs, t-shirts etc... so has anyone got any ideas?

I know he's got me perfume, but I'm buying him aftershave for christmas or his birthday (both shortly after baby's born! ) and I want it to be something special.

Maybe an item of jewellery? Like a ring or something.

I think if I would of got OH something it wouldv'e been a ring, I am hoping to pay for a tattoo of our daughters name tattoed on him next year too

When i got married i got my hubby a pocket watch and had it engraved with 'from this day forward i do 09/07/2009' so he can keep it and hand it down to our son if we have one.

So maybe you could get him one and have it engraved with new daddy or something or tell him you'll have it engraved with your baby's date of birth.

I would probably go with a photo frame, obviously you can't put a picture in it just yet, but the first father son picture I'd put in there! Thankfully father's day was a few days after Kenny was born, so I got FOB (OH at the time) a photo frame, a mug and a diaper bag.. because he needed one

I love the engraving idea, i got my OH an engraved zippo for one of his birthdays [he used to smoke] and he loved it. Even now he doesn't smoke it's something he'll always keep.
You could engrave almost anything so find something personal to him, maybe he has a hobby?..xx
