So the girls have had a cold for about a week now, along with me, just mainly the runny nose thing. A little coughing but not too terrible. Today Kyleigh's acting weird, just not herself. They always wake up at the same time, everyday, but slept in later today. Then Kyleigh didn't eat any of her lunch, maybe one little bite or two. And about an hour before their afternoon nap, which they never fall asleep until they're in their cribs listening to their music for at least 10 minutes, Kyleigh fell asleep on the living room floor. So they went and took a nap but ever since they got up Kyleigh's been whiney so i've been holding her and she keeps falling asleep on me and if I put her down just lays on the floor, which is so not her.

I took her temp and it was 101.4 F, don't know if it's so high because I took it not too long after she woke up.

Anyone have any suggestions? I don't know if it's serious enough to take her to the ER or wait until tomorrow? Just worried a little. Thanks girls!

If she has a temperature have you tried paracetamol? That seemed to work really well on my LO and brought him back round.

id say try that but if it hasnt kicked in within 1/2 hour get along to A&E.

If you dont feel comfortable waiting though go straight there hun

hope theyre ok :hugs:

I gave her some motrin, which took her temp down to 100.4 so by one degree, just made dinner and she's eating some so i'm just gonna try and keep an eye on her and keep checking her temp, thanks a lot!!

Kathryn has been sick for the past few days, whiney screechy very cranky and no energy (she's usually so happy and active). On fri she didn't wake up till 11am! And she's had a fever of 103.2 (has gone down when Tylenol is in her system but climbs back up when it wears off, so I took her to the doctor on fri and he said it was just a virus and to just keep giving her Tylenol every 4 hours, and I only had to bring her back in if she got worse (she hasn't).

So just keep an eye on the temp and if it gets much higher call the doctor. Give them lots of cuddles, lots of liquids, and fever reducer. Hope they feel better soon!
