Hey all, I'm new to BabyandBump and this is my first post :) My husband and I have been ttc for 3 long years. We are both 30, and no issues have been found. I fell pregnant (my first time EVER) in July 2015 after taking clomid 150mg (I believe it was my second round, first was 100mg the month before). Unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage in September. I just started my first round of clomid again - 150mg on days 1-5. I am now on CD 15 and have taken several ic opks but I cant determine if any are positive so was wondering if you lovely ladies can help me out :) The lines seem to fluctuate a lot is this normal? I always wait 4 hours before pos as well.

thanks for your help!

Hi Jess- welcome!

It's totally normal for ICs and the lines to fluctuate throughout a cycle as you've always got some LH in your system. It's pretty normal to see lines getting darker over a day or two then going faint again with ovulation occurring after the darker period. Your lines seem to do that several times over the cycle through which is confusing! I think it's also normal for tests to get pretty close to positive then fade with no ovulation then ovulation happens later in the cycle.

The 7th test the 10th test the 13th and the last two look possibly positive but it's also tricky to tell as they are now dry.
Do you chart your basal body temp as thats a really useful way of double checking your OPKs.

Forgot to add as you're CD15 you could still be yet to ovulate. How long is your normal cycle? Do you know what day you normally ovulate?

Thanks Joybell, I do temp but I do not sleep well so my temps are all over the place. It's so frustrating lol funny thing too, the three tests you mentioned might be closer to positive are all first morning urine which the test says to use, but research suggests otherwise. :)
