Help, recently engaged but I have no idea where to start.

I know as a female I was apparently supposed to be dreaming of my wedding day since I was a little girl, but thats just not me so now I have no idea where to even start.

OH proposed on Christmas day (well, he got our LO to do it lol.) He's from South Africa, I'm from Ireland. We live in Ireland but aren't sure where we'll get married. Ireland or South Africa, either way means a lot of money for one side of the family because of travel expenses.

I've had a quick look online at dresses and so far I've seen nothing I like so I think I'll have to just go in to a shop and try some on to get an idea of what I want.

We haven't set a date as we're not in a hurry and need time to think things over regarding what country we'll marry in.

Anybody got any ideas? Any help is really appreciated.
