a plug from your backside?

This I would expect to be normal. The intestines are mucus membranes, and a colonoscopy is irritating to the bowels

As long as you arent having frank red bleeding and a lot of pain, you dont have anything to worry about, my guess is the colon produced a little extra mucus between being cleaned out and then stuffed up the wrong end. It is pretty vascular and bleeding can happen even if you strain to much to poop :flower:
PS I am a nurse

thank you but that isnt what is going on..
i had a colposcopy not a colonoscopy.(sp)..two totally different things...

but thanks for trying..:)

still if anyone had one please help :S

Hey, nice to meet another nurse on the board.

I've had a colposcopy twice, I wish I could help but I was already bleeding both times, I'd say it wouldn't be anything to worry about though as it can cause bleeding, probably just bleeding from the procedure mixed with normal mucus... Hope everything is alright :) it's not a pleasant procedure!
