Help! Sore nipples

I have recently returned to work and am pumping for LO. I have had a few problems getting the right size breast shields (I now have the correct one) however, this has resulted in my nipples being sore! They're cracked and peeling and so painful to feed or pump from!

Anyone got any tips? I can't really afford the lansinoh nipple cream at the moment so need some other ideas please x

I really like the Tescos own "mum" nipple cream - cheap as chips. Also rub breast milk into the areas. You also can't beat cabbage leaves - they do genuinely help - even better just out the fridge.

Brilliant thanks! I went to tesco yesterday but couldn't find a thing! Do you know which section it would be in?
