I have NO IDEA what to get lo for xmas, everyone keeps telling me that theres no point as hes only guna be a month 1/2 old so he aint guna remember anything, but i really wana get him some prezzys n i cant think of any as most of the stuff i would have gotten him for xmas everyone else has already gotten him for when hes born.

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe something he will have for a while so he remembers, like a personalized painting or artwork for his room.

I would get him something personalised about his first Christmas, like his name and 1st xmas written? a snowglobe with his photo in? anything he can keep xxx

snowglobe hes already got from my mum, its a santa snowglobe that says my 1st christmas under the globe. Shes just waiting for his pic.
The only things i can get him is the play gym n swing other then that hes got everything, I know i can get teethers n rattles but id class them as stocking fillers not actual proper presents.

Sorry if i sound bitchy its just really getting me down, i havent looked forward to christmas for years n now i have a reason to be excited about it everyone else seems to be getting everything i said i wanted to get him.:cry:

Maybe get toys that he will enjoy more when he was a little older.

Minipose is five months and likes:

Lamaze toys, these are a big hit and have been for a few weeks now.

Sophie the Giraffe, expensive but worth every penny.

Taggie ball with a bell in in, he is playing with that right now.

Cloth books we have some mainly black and white ones we got from Amazon and he loves the crinkly pages. They have been a big hit since he was old enough to take an interest in toys.

Cot toys are great as well, he loves batting them around. He also has a Fisher Price Kick and Play piano which is annoying to me but he loves.

With regard to big things, he only tolerated the swing when he was a very new baby by the time he was about two months old it was his bouncy chair he wanted to be in (although his swing was great while it lasted). More recently he has started to love his doorway bouncer. There are also these brilliant tummy time playmats (type tummy time in to Amazon). Had I seen those when he was young enough to get more use out of it I definatly would have got one. A playmat is nice too.

As for sentimental things you could choose a story book you loved as a child and put a sweet message in, get a my first Christmas bauble/ stocking/ photoframe/ teddy bear, pick out a lovely 1st Christmas outfit.

There is still lots that can be just from you.

ive bought my baby a hodge podge hedge hog from mamas and papas his spines are made of tickets and he rattles im sure he will love him x

my daughter was 2.5wk old at xmas so didnt eat much, few pram toys.

Buy walker, jumperoo, nice highchair things that will get used few months later.

Personally id just wait till the sales
