Help! unable to change profile pic

my pic file's only 50 KB which i think it's within the allowable size, but no matter how many times i tried to change my pic, it keeps saying "update file failed". why??
 
Try converting the format with an image converter such as https://www.coolutils.com/online/image-converter/
