Help?!

My daughter is 3weeks old tomorrow and she is suffering with abit of colic atm but she seems to want a feed every 2-2and a half hours and she is very whiney and constantly wants attention, im contemplating putting her on aptimal hungry baby, shes on aptimal 1 atm and she takes normally 3oz or 4. does anyone have any input that they can help me with as im getting abit stressed =( thanks!!!!

Heya. At 3 weeks old my dd2 was also having 3-4oz every 2-2.5 hours. Her milk intake and feeding pattern is completely normal and she definatly doesnt need hingry baby milk. To ease her colic you could try these things:

-winding her more often during a feed.
-using infacol or dentinox drops.
-changing to a bottle with a more advance anti-colic system such as dr browns or tommee tippee anti-colic plus (with the tube inside).

If these things dont help then maybe speak to your HV about trying comfort milk which is specially disigned to ease colic and constipation, but I wouldnt switch unless the other things dont work. xxxx
