The spot diatherm didnt work so im now on maximum dose of tamoxifen which also appears to not work.
Hubby and i are thinking of me taking a break from all tablets i have been taking and start again in a couple of months.
does anyone think that this may help or hinder the situation any input will be really appreciated as im losing all hope  fertility clinic have said there is nothin else they can do unless i go private which i just cant afford as dh lost his job x

so sorry that you have been ttc for such a long time.....i cant imagine how hard it must be for you both....we have been ttc for 17 mths & i feel like our world has kinda come to a halt as our lives revolve around ttc......

im currently on my 3rd cycle of clomid.....we have been told that this is it on the nhs...our next option is iui but will have to go private & pay :( im due to have a lap at end of this mth so if all clear then we will have to start saving & then give the iui a try.........

I have heard many success stories of women that have been taking fertility drugs & then the cycle they stop taking stuff is the mth they conceive!! so it could be worth trying.....

xx

when we'd been ttc almost 6 yrs, I'd already been diagnosed with pcos. I'd tried met and clomid and had two early m/c due to poor ovulation. We decided to give up just after I had an hsg in nov 05. We stopped ttc, and decided to use the withdrawal method to prevent us getting pg. I always have long cycles, so didnt expect af. One night, we didnt pull out :dohh: I started getting uber sore boobs, and went the doc to test progesterone, just incase I'd o'd somehow and it was the prog making them sore. It was 94.8, which was off the scale! A few days later, we decided with a number like that, we ought to test, and bam, :bfp: . It didnt work out, but the point remains that after 6 years infertilty, I got pg when I really was on a break and avoiding, so it can happen :)
