Ok, so I'm thinking about all the 'what ifs' of getting back with my ex, and the major thing bugging me right now is this:
If we're just living together (not married,) will the government take away my foodstamps, cash assistance, childcare and insurance because he would be the head of household and his income is 5x mine?

hiya i'm not sure how it works where you are but in england you do get most benefits taken away if your partner earns enough to support you. Will he support you and your lo?x

He would expect me to help out financially, which I can do, but the majority of the responsibility would be his. I don't know at this point if he would be willing to do it or not. He has no problem supporting our daughter, but at this point, I'm not sure how he feels about me. He has been being a lot nicer lately, but maybe it's just out of friendship.
