I m 36 and really want to try for a baby but on thyroxine and arthritis painkillers where do i stand? is it safe?

I dont know hon. Probably best to speak with your Dr.

Best to speak with your doctor of course, but here is some info on thryoxine and pregnancy:
https://www.thyroid.ca/pregnancy_fertility.php

Most likely your arthritis medications will not be safe and you'll have to discuss alternatives with your dr.

I take levothyroxine(same thing as thyroxine) and have never had a Dr. express any concerns about it and pregnancy. I have read that it is Classed as a Class A drug.
"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) uses a category system to classify the possible risks to a fetus when a specific medicine is taken during pregnancy. Pregnancy Category A is given to medicines that have been extensively studied in pregnant humans and do not appear to cause any harm to the fetus."

I would be more concerned about the Arthritis painkillers, but as the others have suggested checking with your Dr. is the safest thing to do.
