Hi ladies!

So I thought that we all are sooo broody and baby crazy, so why not start a thread where we can educate each other and give hints and advice about most baby related subjects whilst waiting. Anything from how to ttc to taking care of a baby. Baby products, ideas with breastfeeding, formula feeding, types of birth. You name it! If you see some handy gadget then why not post it here, because there is always something new on the market. What is on your wishlist and what did you already buy? I mean, we are in WTT because we want to support each other.

I just found this and that's what inspired me to ask you ladies to join.

If you have better sites or links then please add.

I just can't decide if need to buy a moses basket/rocking chair. I do have a camping cot with all the bells and whistles, but it's huge standing next to my bed. DD still sleeps in it at the moment. I am also wondering wether the baby monitor will function 100% in the moses basket.

I have seen this one from tiny love and you can use it as a chair later on. https://www.tinylovesouthafrica.co.za/3-in-1-rocker-napper.html

The reason I also like it is that it is suitable for reflux babies. My DD had reflux and it was so hard the first three months. I want to be prepared next time.

I like doing this sort of stuff too, what a nice idea! I'm always looking for checklists (what to buy for baby, what to do before TTC, etc.), so here are a couple checklists I've found for what to pack in the bag you'll bring to the hospital during labor:

Thank you!

With my DD I took nightgowns that opens in the front and easy access for breastfeeding, but I hated it. It was bad enought to be in a hospital, let alone dressed in pajamas all day! Next time I will take comy tracksuit pants and a shirt that still easily opens for breastfeeding.

Next time I will put make-up on and do my hair. On all the photos I look like an over used washcloth!

:rofl: Sorry to laugh, but the way you said that is just hilarious! I'm sure you looked beautiful to everyone who matters though :)

This is a great idea! I cant look at or post links right now but ill be sure to check them out when I get on a computer. :) One of the things I figured out for my family was to not be too concerned about a crib right away. All my kids slept in a pack n play in my room for at least the first three months. It was just way more convienient for me to have them in a bed i could move around the house. Another helpful tip is to not try to be super quiet when the baby is sleeping. If you still make the regular amount of noise that you would if they werent there, they will learn to sleep through it and will sleep better in the long run because of it.

I totally agree with you aidensxmomma with a bed being able to move around the house and teaaching your children to sleep wherever. My dd is so used to sound that she will sleep right next to a jet starting it's engines. Lol

I used a monitor in my Moses basket and it worked fine.
