Here Comes Valentines Day <3 Not sure what to do here.

On V day it'll be four weeks since I had my C section. I was initially told 6 weeks till I could DTD. BUT, at my last check up I was told when I felt up to it it was OK. Everything is healed and I stopped bleeding last week, thing is....I am not sure I even want to! I thought I could not wait, but now everything seems so dry and un...ummmmm "welcoming" (?) downstairs. I just don't think I want to bother with lubes and all that crap. YUk. Poor OH. I feel like I should try, I know he is going insane, but I just don't know if I am into it. I really just wish we could go out for a romantic dinner, or a drink on V day, but
A) We can't leave her for more than 2 hours,
B) Oh is working 2nd shift, and
C) I am BF-ing, so alcohol ain't happening.

I don't know what to do about romance on Valentines day this year. Oh well.

I am exactly the same in terms of just not really being that interested, I think it's because I'm so tired and it just seems like a lot of energy when I feel like i have 0!

We waited until I was 8 weeks pp as I wanted to be on the pill first and I was still bleeding up until then. It was a little tricky the first time, mainly because I was dry and we hadn't done it in what felt like forever!

I'm planning in making us a nice dinner this year, getting a film out and having a cosy night in. Hopefully LO will be good and sleep so we can get some time for ourselves. It's kinda struck me that now romance doesn't necessarily mean sex, it's just about taking that time out to be with easy other, talk, cuddle and kiss

I started the pill a week ago and been keen to dtd!!
We r going out sat night for dinner and a movie so ill be leaving LO with mum. Ill leave jace at mums about lunchtime so I can get ready in peace so prob do it then!
Ive been expressing like mad for it lol.

Hope everything went ok for you! I couldn't face it for 9 weeks, and a year in we still need to use lube just be prepared the bleeding might return at some point. Mine stopped at 3 weeks, and came back with a vengeance at 5 and a half weeks worse than it was initially!! Hope you had a lovely valentines day!! x

Worked out OK. I made cupcakes and when he got home from work at 11pm we ate some and then ummm...celebrated


I bought Astroglide...felt better than the TTC fertility lube we used once a long time ago. Less GOoPy. Lol.

Well I've dropped the kiddo at mums. Pumping off some boob so I don't squirt all over him and then I'm good to go, how romantic lol

i know this is off topic but my Lily came at 36 weeks to and on 2/15/13 so almost exactly a month after urs...
