Ok, I'm gearing up for ovulation, which should take place in about 7-10 days. I think I definitely have to change my ways because I cannot have another month like the last one. I literally put my life on hold from the day of ovulation until AF, and even before ovulation, I turned BD into a chore for the both of us.
This is what I'm planning to do. I think writing out my plan will help me stick to it:
*Keep BDing fun. Have lots of it, but not get too technical about the whole thing.
* Use an OPK, just to ease my mind (We'd be BDing a lot anyway, so I probably wouldn't miss it anyway).
* Refrain from propping up my hips obsessively with a pillow after BDing.
* Continue BDing a lot until 1-2 days past O, and then just not force it anymore after that.
* Leave on my holiday and try as much as possible NOT to think about TTC or the TWW. I want to just forget about it until testing time.
* I WILL NOT TEST BEFORE 10-11 DPO.
* I will try not to hyperanalyze every twinge in my body.
Sound good? Feedback please!! Let me know if you think I've missed anything.
I can't help but feel that, if I'm not obsessing about it, I'm actually losing some chance at conceiving...but maybe that's all in my head.
