Wow so its taken me 4 days to post as its been a bit of a roller coaster.
So ill start with labour started 5 days ago and zachary was born at 2.44am monday morning 4 days ago
Everything was going fine, except my contractions where getting closer and closer together with no break in between so off to the birth unit we went, after getting checked at 2am i was only 4cm and mw tryed to break my waters......she couldnt but was pulling out what i thought had been my show but nope it was my waters and baby poo! Ambulance was call straight away to transfer to hospital, on the way to the hospital at 2.20am the stupid driver took the long way and after the lovely grunt i did my mw said lights and syrins shes pushing.....he asked what is your reasoning for that, to that he got me yelling hes comming....
So as you can guess we didnt make it, my partner and mum where following behind and missed it all.
He was born in the back of the ambulance in the hospital car park!
The poo was so much andnthe mw things he pooed a week before hand but everythingnwas fine so we didnt worrie so they couldnt get him to breath at first but all is well now, he is still in NICU just to get feeding and oxygen levels under control, so im finding it hard haing to express and take it in and leave him, he is just the most cutes wee man weighing 6lb1oz very small but doing so well.

Wow, congratulations.

Must have been pretty scarey for you but you did it and so did ur lil man. Shame your partner missed it all .

My babies had time in neonatal so I know what you are going through. It won't be long he'll hold his own, start feeding nicely then you can go home with him. Hang in there you'll be surprised each day they improve.

Good luck and congratulations.

Congrats, lillypad! Prayers that your LO will get to go home soon! :hugs:
