Owen Ryan made his appearance on sept 21st at 40+3. I went in the 19th with contractions that wouldn't get stronger. They kept me over night to watch and we decided we would start pitocin in the morning. We did pitocin the whole next day and my contractions wouldn't progress. Decided to insert cervadil that night. Well cervadil threw me right into active labor. My nurse refused to believe it. I labored in agony for 12 hours. She finally believed me and checked. I was 5 cm. I begged for an epidural. By the time they gave me my epi (30 mins later) I was a 9. Got the epi and started pushing 1 1/2 hrs later. I got by without stitches, but still have a decent tear. Owen was 8lbs 12 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. still adjusting to everything, but I'm so in love!
I also had a very painful labour 
my only saving grace was it was super fast thank god! Lol x
