hi just a quick one to say hope everyone is ok and enjoying their pregnancy , and to share my experience with any one who is thinking of having or only has the option of a c section, my boy was due 1 feb but as he was breech i was scheduled for a c section on the 24th jan, firstly they dont all ways get it right i was told they could try to turn him , and as it turned out there was no way this baby was going to come out the "proper" way with out serious limb damage so dont feel bad if that is your only option , go with your gut instinct its rarely wrong, secondly dont be bullied by the booby brigade some of them are real battle axes ( we shall be writing a letter of complaint !) some were brill but i think a letter is in order all the same ,, thing is if you have a normal delivery your milk wont come in straight away so if you have a c it takes a bit longer again and i cant produce enough milk to fill him up either ( milk monster) it can take up to 6 days so dont beat yourself up over it like i did , and finally dont be afraid of a c section its a wonderfull experience as you arent delirous with pain you are coherrent enough to enjoy the experience its quick painless and the worse thing is when they try to find the right spot to inject in to your back its all over very quickly the team were brilliant very comforting and reassuring, and finally make sure you know when where and when to get your meals whilst in hospital! good luck to all its an anxious time but its so worth in when baby is looking up at you and pulling faces!
