He's hitting me!

If I take something from him, or tell him no and pick him up away from him he'll either take a wee mini tantrum..nothing major, or hit me, or my mum if its her dealing with him at the time. If I say sternly "No, thats bad" or anything, he just kinda growls and does it again. Sometimes he'll put on a sad face and hug me then go away and play..but not often. How do I stop it?! He goes to a childminders, and I wouldn't like to think of him behaving this way with the other kids there too!

Dec is the same, but they are at the stage where they cant express themselves, Dec used to be awful, kicking, punching, biting and hitting, but now that he can sort of tell me what he wants he has calmed down a bit, dont get me wrong he still has major tempers sometimes but it is to be expected. Dont worry hun they all go through it, I am a child minder and I have seen it all before, a childminder should know how to handle him so I wouldnt worry about that. xx
