So I took everyone's advice and got an obgyn. She's awesome. She prescribed me clomid on my first visit. So 2 years of trying without periods or ovulation, finally I'm getting somewhere.

I took the clomid after my induced period (provera induced). And my 21 day progesterone tests say that I ovulated!!! So I am in the 2 week wait with a boat load of symptoms I have never had before.

- 2 days ago (5-6 dpo) I got a huge wave of nausea and almost passed out, I took NyQuil and have been in bed for 2.5 entire days too dizzy to walk. Can't eat anything except waffles with syrup (just the smell of syrup used to make me gag).

- tickling or tugging feeling below my belly button randomly

- bloated beyond belief, gassy, cramping on both sides near ovaries.

- enlarged and sore boobs. Darkened areoles. Big blue veins going to each nipple.

I am trying not to hope but I am just excited the clomid made me ovulate and now I actually have a shot.

Best of luck to you, Marqelle! Those sound like good symptoms to me. I hope you will get your BFP! When do you plan on testing?

Thank you I've been testing every day for a few days but I am only 12 dpo as of this morning (April 25). Testing with fmu in the morning on a frer

I'm not pregnant...yet. I have been doing iui with clomid with my gyno. This is my first cycle with a specialist. Doing femara, follistim, and trigger shot followed by iui.

I am very excited. I did 3 rounds of clomid with timed intercourse, then 3 rounds with IUI timed with opks. But my timing was always off. This was with my gyno, so no monitoring, just called when I had a pos opk...plus they were not open weekends. So now I have gone to the FS...she seems to think I can still go with IUI at least a couple more times. But switching the clomid for femara...adding the follistim & a trigger. So the O will be manipulated & the timing should be much better! I am a little nervous about the meds.

Oh & the other thing that happened while you have been away...my husband had a consistent count of 12 million. He started fertility blend from GNC back in Sept or Oct. When we did IUI #1, count was again 12, then 1 million post wash. Then when it came to IUI #2 in Feb, his count was 40 million!...4 million post wash! Up 4X! Same thing with IUI #3. So we are excited to have more meds, better timing, and a decent count. Count seems to be the only thing in our way.

I am so glad you went to a gyno. I knew they would give you clomid & clomid can be great especially for women like you. I hope your husband's SA comes back good. If it is, clomid may be all you need!

Wow 4million?! That's awesome! And that specialist sounds like she knows what she's doing! I didn't know you could manipulate the timing like that, sounds like it will boost your chances a ton

Yes I'm kicking myself for not going early and wasting thousands on the useless family physician haha
