So, my name is Erin. I'm 18 and 12 weeks pregnant. Tomorrow is my very first scan and I'm sooo nervous. I heard the heartbeat on the doppler last week. It was the best sound in the world. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago, so I am a bit nervous. Any encouraging words?

Thanks. I really like your daughters name! When's your due date? &yeah, my Dr was telling me that a lot of people worry when the first pregnancy ends in mc. But a lot of times everythings okay! So I can only pray. I made a stupid mistake of trying to open my darn window and it was stuck, so that's why I think I'm so scared. But, thanks girly.

My DD is april 24th! and thanks! we were told at 19 weeks that it was a boy, so we had a name all lined up and everything, and then about a week ago we were told its a girl! surprise! so we came up with the name relatively recently... And im sure theres nothing to be worried about!

Congrats and welcome! I'm Emilee and I'm 17, and 24 weeks pregnant with my baby girl. The first time you get to see your LO is amazing. It's crazy to compare ultrasound pictures from early on to later in the pregnancy, they grow really fast! Hope you have a healthy 9 months.

Thankfully we were procrastinating big time! only had a couple of onesies and a pair of booties. I wasnt really that happy about it being a girl at first, but seeing OH get so excited and being wrapped around her little finger already has helped. (hes been so adorable. Hes going into the army and is already finding little onesies that are pink camo and say adorable things like "soldier's little girl" and such.)

I was super down about the whole "OH WAIT, not a boy" thing, and trev (OH) was trying to make me feel better. so, doing what he knew about (i.e. sports), we decided to do a bracket system... we both wrote lists of our favorite 16 names (none of them overlapped... surprise) and we gave it to the other who immediately cut 8 names. then we had to cut half of the remaining names from our lists. then the other cut half of THOSE names. and then we combined the last 4 names into one list, and we ended up with those two names that were on his list originally. Im really not sure where he came up with those two. But they sound really nice together!

Oh, that's fun. &I definitely just realized when I asked about your dd, it was already on your signature (I'm guessing that's what it is. I'm new here, so honestly have no idea lol.) Sorry! Yeah, my boyfriend and I can't wait to know what were having but either way ill be happy as long as my lo is healthy. I think I might have to steal your naming idea cause honestly that's pretty cool.

Yeah it was super fun! We had SOOOO much trouble coming up with a name when we thought it was a boy. Fights ensued. But this way we ended up laughing more of the time because of how ridiculous our objections were to the other's names! It made it less of a fight, more of a collabrative effort. And I thought I would be a lot more upset about it than i actually am. I thought I definitely wanted a boy first, but now I already adore Lux already. Definite upside to girls? One word. Tutus.

Kayla; Nice to meet you! That's really exciting. Do you want a boy or a girl? My scan went wonderful! It was so cute. I call it a he, but I have no idea lol. But he was like, showing off for us. Then he looked like he was playing peek a boo. And then he wore himself out and just went to sleep I think, lol. It was so special.

It's fun to show off your bump! Today I was actually told I had a cute bump. Mine has been good! Right now I'm enjoying the break from my LO's kicking. Seems like she's finally worn herself out for a bit. Glad that your scan went well, I bet you're already looking forward to the next.

Emilee; that's so funny, so she's an active Lo? And definitely! My next appointment isn't until the 19th, I think, and its not a scan. But they did put me at 13 weeks instead of 12. Not much of a difference, but hey. I'll take it. Lol. I found out my dd is august 2nd. So, its more official now.

Yeah she's extremely active! She just went through a growth spurt I think because she wasn't moving too much, but now she's making up for lost time haha. Aw that's exciting! It'll be here before you know it.
