Hi all!
I'm Em, I'm 22 years old, and this is my first baby!
I had the implant out on the 1st of June, felt a bit weird the last few weeks, took a couple of those internet cheap tests and there was nothing so I left it. Boyfriend was bugging me on Sunday morning to do a test, I told him it was a waste of time but did it anyway, didn't even look at the test til I got back upstairs! A beautiful second line.. confirmed with a FRER, and then a Clearblue Digi which says I'm 2-3 weeks (so a doctor will date me 4-5 weeks)
I was scared at first because why wouldn't I come up on the cheap internet tests? They claim they're 10miu! But I did one with the same pee I did the clearblue digital, and there's barely a line on the internet test.. so that'll be why I never showed up on there in the last few weeks!
I didn't really have any symptoms at all. My appetite disappeared, I had huge mood swings, my body was gearing up for a period and then it all went away. And that was it!
I'm so excited to phone the doctors and get everything in motion! Even though the baby is a huge surprise I honestly didn't know I could love something I'd never seen this much. My dog (She's called Pepper!) has barely left my side for the last couple weeks so I'm wondering if she's sensed it. Usually she's near me but she is literally always on me/next to me now! I love it!
My entire family know already because I made the mistake of telling my mother who got so overexcited to blurted it out to everyone within an hour.. I wanna be mad but I can't be. Everyone is so excited! I announced my wedding date on Saturday and on Sunday found out I was pregnant.. I'm so lucky!
I hope I get to stay around here for the whole nine months and I hope I get to post pictures of my beautiful baby once they're here!
