So, before my hubby went in for his 1st VR, his doc requested a blood draw from me to test my FSH level to make sure all was OK... and he said it was (although I never got to see the specific results). Since then my hubby went through another VR and found out all is excellent with him now... yay!
But recently I went in to have additional bloods done, and my doc also ordered the FSH levels again... which I assumed would be fine as I'd already been told they were. I was just doing my due diligents.
BUT- I was told my level was 14 (which is high- it should be under 10). So now I'm very confused... could it have changed that much in a year? Could it be wrong? Could my first draw have been OK and been around 14 also?
I'm currently trying to get the actual # from my first result- since I'd like to see what was originally considered "good".... but now I'm a bit worried. There is SO much info on the internet- and a lot says at that level we'll have trouble conceiving... ugh.
Anyone else have higher levels and have a specialist say all was OK? We are going to go see a specialist, just to be on the safe side... but after all we've been through in the past year I was not expecting that news...
