Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone else has this? The same thing happened when i was pregnant with my daughter, but a lot further on than this pregnancy (although my bump is pretty big at just 14 weeks).

When i sleep on my side i have just started to get a really achey pain in line with my hips, near the top of my thighs. I had an awful night sleep last night as kept waking up in agony and kept having to swap sides. I lie with a pillow between my legs and one under my bump, but doesn't seem to help.

Do you think it is too early to ask for physio? My midwife yesterday told me to wait til 20 weeks, but that's still 6 weeks away and it hurts!!!

Thanks, any advice would be really appreciated.

My hip, back, coycx ... everything hurts and to be honest, physio hasnt helped much either. My hip started hurting around the 20 week mark, but this is my first, so not sure about 2nd time round. Unfortunately I think it is just one of those things. Hope yours gets better soon though

I've just been diagnosed with PGP and it started with hip pain at 15 weeks then the following week I could hardly walk. Phone the MW physio honey and get checked over.

I have popped nack in hope thats ok. I had hip pain at 12 weeks. This is my 1st. 1st remember one day i layed on the bed in agony as i felt they where splitting open. That all stopped as quick as its starts. Ive hardly had any since. It could just be starting early. But no harm in calling midwife

I get hip pain too.. But it doesn't hurt during the day. I think maybe it's more to do with the fact I'm spending alot more time sleeping on my sides whereas before I always used to sleep on my tummy.. Obviously I can't do that anymore so if I wake up in the middle of the night it's mainly because my hip hurts.

But like I said it's ok during the day.. Normally eases off when I start walking around
