So my question is really what's an acceptable/normal level of hip pain during pregnancy?

I feel like my hips are about to just give up completely on me. Took DD1 for an eye check up today, 10 minute walk each way and ended up in bed for an hour when got home. Then throughout the day it's just got worse and worse, so much so that I was feeling sick and lying on bed crying my eyes out. My pain threshold isn't rubbish, I can usually deal with usual aches and pains but this is awful. Not just today either, been pretty much the same for a few weeks now.

I'm struggling to get around the house! I have no idea how I'm going to manage to walk from the car to work when I go in tomorrow (only a 15 minute walk at slow pace), the thought of it just makes me ill!

Anyone else really suffering? Is it worth even bothering the GP with or will I just be told to suck it up and get onwith life???

I had this with my first, I went to the physio and I bought a special support band which really helped

I had this last time and I can already feel it starting :( It was excruciating and honestly debilitating. I tried to get help but my doctors wouldn't listen. After giving birth it went away completely. This time I'm going to be much more persistent about treatment because they can prescribe things to help and imo it's not normal to be unable to function normally during pregnancy.

Well I've just been. Prescribed me codene and referred to physio and told to rest. Ah well will see how i feel after a few days, not keen on the walk to work just yet
