Secondary means you have had a child already and have issues now.
Ahhh, I see, thank you

See I have no idea... hardly learnt much did we...

But as I haven't had / got children is this still secondary for us? xx

I apologize, I thought you did...you meant DH.No, it's not secondary, it's primary unexplained infertility. Your docs suck.

We have a thread by Sus09, called "Doc appt," you will find a lot of info there...please come join.
Also, IDK what your weight is or if you are overweight at all, but it can be a factor; I am NOT saying it should be the sole focus, but a lot of NHS docs seem to harp on the weight issue.
Take it all with a grain of salt and see what works best for you....![]()
Well, this is unexplained fertility; I have the same diagnosis. You want answers, for there to be some sort of problem, but no one can find it.
This means, that if weight is the only thing a doc can find, he/she will keep pointing it out; very frustrating.
If you feel fine and all of your tests are within the normal range, than weight may not be an issue. I certainly agree that a hard work-out isn't the best idea, but light/moderate exercise is never a bad thing.![]()
Everything about TTC sucks.![]()
Flipperty I think it's terrible that you've been given such conflicting info. The only thing I can add to what the girls have already said is you will learn more on this forum than anywhere else
(I speak from experience and I work in obs and gynae) these ladies really know their stuff. I think paying a visit to sus's doc's appointment thread is a great idea and so is going back to your GP and being asked to be referred elsewhere. It's awful that you're being put on medication and no-one's explaining what it's for. By the time I got to see the FS I was armed to the hilt with questions, opinions and charts thanks to the girls so the more info you have the more confident you'll feel when you go into these consultations. And you should never be made to feel like these people haven't got enough time for you, that's just wrong. I wish you lots of luck on your TTC journey!
