Hiya im kayleigh, i have a beautiful little girl named Skye who is 5months old. finding it quite difficult at the moment espesh being on my own ! have agreat family support around me, but still have to go home on our own at the end of each night !! x

its so difficult. ive been single for 3 months now, and i have to say that it doesnt bother me that i have to do things by myself, its the company i miss. some days u just wish that there was someone around to help with the baby, but i think if lilys dad was here, id be doing it all by myself anyways, like i did in the begninning. i can talk baby talk for hours, but i have no friends around here and im so nervous goin go the mother and baby groups

I am Laura, mummy to twin girls Chloe and Jaycee.. FOB and myself orginally split in March 2010, got back together June 2010 and stayed together until September this year when we finally called it quits. I later found out he had moved on with a lady friend he had been talking to since before we split.

I am happy on my own, the nights can be a bit lonely but as I said in another post there is always this forum and I usually call a friend, have a long soak in the bath.. Anything to take my mind off it.

No matter how lonely my nights are I would be equally lonely if he were sat beside me.

I've been on my own for about 2 years now. I find it gets easier, the harder again, then easier again. Just back and forth emotionally and physically but the harder times are getting shorter and the easier times are getting longer so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

And as Laura said, no matter how lonely the nights are now they would be just as lonely if he were still around.

The lonely nights are the worst, im fine during the day, go out and keep busy but the nights are tough. i usually just watch tv, come on here, try to have a friend over once a week. failing that i go to bed at 9pm and read a book!

Its just nice to hear sometimes that your not the only one going through this

Sometimes the nights can feel so long and other times they can feel so short. Like tonight. its already 10.15 and all I have done is have dinner and bake some cakes. The girls have been asleep only an hour as I had my mum sister and niece over for dinner.
