Well I saw this and I just had to share!!

Personally I think its excellent. I mean its a shame it has to go to such an extent to get men (or women) to face up to their responsibilities.

Would be very interesting to see how this plays out.....

What do you think??

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Could be interesting.. would make them open their eyes thats for sure

xx

I think this would be a great idea!

Excellent idea, I must say I couldn't help laughing at the part of the report that said stripping away the licence could means losing jobs and their ability to contribute, they would be loosing them s they arent contributing :haha:

FOB's already lost his driving license... Don't think anything could make him pay :growlmad:

Good idea though!

FOB's need to make themselves more accountable to the decisions they make. They cannot simply pretend a child does not exist. They may not want to see the child, but the way I look at it, the child did not ask to be born - they deserve both parents, and they deserve to be looked after to the best of both parents abilities - that includes financially!

I like the idea of being able to take it straight out of the bank account - made me smile :-)

I think this is brilliant. I hope they do bring it in. If they can afford to run a car around they should be paying for their child.

Doesn't help if their a dickhead that quits their job to get out of paying though lol. xx

Yeah - the way I see it they can quit their job not to pay, but they are the ones that will suffer in the long run. no job no car no money - makes them a really attractive prospect doesn't it!

Don't the CSA technically already have to right to take money direct from wages, take FOB to court and then send in the bailiffs anyway?? If they were enforcing any or all of these adequately then there would be no need to take away licences? Just my opinion

Oh but removing passports is a good idea.. if they can't afford to pay child support then holidays are out of the question anyway

xx

I think the difference here is that the CSA does have the right but they have to approach the courts first. this article is taking away the need to go through a lengthy court process. idk just all sounds pretty cool xxxxxxxxx

Good thing is that if the licenses were taken away, the FOBs would have to explain to everyone else why they can't drive.

Can't imagine it's something too many would be happy to admit.
