Holiday Loss - Feeling Defeated

I had a MMC on 12/20. I didn't really celebrate Christmas. I just couldn't. I've finally stopped bleeding but still waiting for some (any) LH to show up on an O stick. I feel so defeated. At least the doc says he might give me progesterone for my next pregnancy as a safeguard. I only hope that the next pregnancy is soon.

Sorry to hear this, how awful for you over Christmas.

Losses do make you feel so deflated, i'm sure it will happen for you soon though, I have my fingers crossed for you xx

I was due on af boxing day
Go a BFP xmas eve and started to bleed xmas dat
I didn't know what was going on went to the emergency docs and they told me it was a very early loss
Never experienced anything like this before

I just took my first post-loss hpt. Still positive. I guess that explains the negative OPKs. I can't O if my body still thinks I'm pregnant.

I had a scan Xmas eve 9 weeks to find that babys heartbeat had stopped in the last 24 hours (measured 8w 6d). Same thing happened to me in July....exact same gestation

I had a D&C in JUly which turned out to be a partial molar so my HCG was monitored - took about 5-6 weeks to hit normal but AF returned around 5 weeks post d&C (HCG was around 30).
My December loss is being checked for molar also.....I had D&C 30th Demceber so very early days for getting anywhere near a negative HPT

It feels like a long wait xx xx

Firstly let me say sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel as I had a Christmas loss myself. I passed my baby on 13th Dec and went back in on 24th to be told it was complete and there was nothing left. Stopped bleeding 24/25. Done hpt this morning (27 days since miscarriage) faint positive (more than likely left over hormones). Just wish i could feel normal again, feels like I've been robbed. Waiting impatiently on the witch to visit now.

I'm still spotting 3 weeks after medical intervention. So, I know what you mean about waiting impatiently on AF.

found out my masicarage that started dec18th, is still there, this week had ultrasound and it shows the gestational sac is still there, another ultrasound monday to see if there is also a new pregnancy too and if not aD and C on friday, this is the miscarriage that ends

Dolphin - that's really awful. I'm praying that this thing finally ends for you. It's so miserable to go through.

I actually think my cycle is finally leveling out. I had a temp spike this morning. So, I'm praying that progesterone has kicked in and I'll see AF in 2 weeks. I guess it's possible I Od and if so my timing was good, but it seems unlikely given that my OPKs were all over the place. Regardless, I'm just happy that my cycle may be 2 weeks to an end.

ttc74 the mentalpart, thinking everything was done (mentally hard acceptting that it was over, andwith christmas) and knowing i am still carrying my unborn baby is upsetting, been in pain the last 2 days but only passing clots nothing big enough to say theres thesac, but frig, i so wanted 2016 to be a better year but its starting off horrible,

I can't imagine dolphin. I feel like my cycle will never end and I'm only 3.5 weeks in. I have the greatest empathy in the world for what you're going through.

Mitchnorm- I just want to say I am so incredibly sorry and my heartfelt condolences for your losses. You are one amazingly strong lady and I need to take some lessons from your bravery.
My last loss was also realized on 9 wk scan and baby's heartbeat stopped at 8wks 5 days. Testing showed it was a chromosome issue -- Tri15- very rare. Most chromosome issues I was told will present themselves around that 9 week'ish mark.

I had the faintest of faint lines yesterday 13 days after d&c so I am hopeful.


Could it be likely that I am ovulating today already (or approaching??)...CM seems to indicate and I usually ovulate on day 12-13....but only 13 days after D&C seems unlikely yes?

I don't know Mitch. I know that women do get pregnant the month after MMCs. Fertility friends thinks I Od this month (albeit late).
